I had a wonderful childhood in Hanmer Springs, North Canterbury, where I developed a love of the outdoors and mountain environments. My family moved to Christchurch and I went on to high school at Christs College.

My passion was for outdoor recreation and nature conservation so I went to Lincoln College and completed a Diploma in Parks and Recreation (Park Ranger). I worked for the NZ Forest Service in Canterbury and the West Coast as a recreation planner before moving to Wellington and Head Office roles. During these years I spent as much time as I could afford mountaineering with close friends. I have climbed many of the Southern Alps major peaks, including Mount Cook.

I then completed a Bachelors of Commerce and Administration (BCA) at Victoria University, Wellington, majoring in Marketing Management, Strategic Management and Human Resources. This led me into sales careers with IBM and Telecom selling corporate computer and telecommunications systems. I have also worked as Brand Manager for Columbia Sportswear - "Mother Boyle's" famous skiwear and outdoor apparel. These roles advanced my sales, customer service and relationship management skills.

Today I sell houses & property in Christchurch. I love selling real estate and having my own business. Winning listings and closing sales still gives me great pleasure!

I am extremely well supported by a great team including my amazing Personal Assistant (Sue Wilson-Adam - my wife); top management & auctioneer; the Grenadier staff & colleagues; and the marketing subcontractors - for photography, signage, Bluebook, The Press, internet marketing, etc.

For 9 years I have been honing my real estate marketing & negotiating skills, and growing my business based on quality results & professional services for clients. I have sold over $35,000,000 of real estate.

Awards:

In 2008/09, 2007/08, 2005/06 & 2004 I achieved Top Referrer in Harcourts Canterbury for the exclusive Harcourts/ASB VISA Gold Card (was GE Credit line) - used by clients to fund 120 interest free days marketing. Harcourts has over 400 sales people here so I'm delighted to have reached number one in this category!

In 2009, 2008, 2006, 2005 & 2004 I was also proud to pick up Harcourts Grenadier Group Top Referrer award for the most investment in Harcourts/ASB VISA Gold Card (was GE Credit line).  This credit service was discontinued in 2010.

In 2006 I received a Sterling Service Award for 5 years service.
